ScotNursing & Medical Services are offering the Flu Vaccination at your workplace for group bookings of 10 or more employees (prices available on request) this season to help to protect you, your employees and your loved ones from flu. It is so important to protect ourselves from flu, even if you are fit and healthy, we can still catch the flu. So please book now to help prevent the spread of Flu.

  • Book your flu vaccination by calling us at 0330 056 8877 and speaking to one of our Team.

What happens at your appointment?

For Group Bookings at your workplace

  • 1. Please contact us for Group Bookings by email at snmsinfo@scotnursing.com or call us at 0330 056 8877.

  • 2. A member of our Team will be in touch to agree suitable time and place to carry out the Vaccines and you will receive an email confirming the place and time of your appointments.

  • 3. One of our experienced health professionals will carry out the Vaccines at the agreed location. They will ask each patient few questions to make sure that the vaccine is right for them.

  • 4. Our colleagues will all be wearing PPE. Appointments will usually take no longer than 15 minutes per person.

  • 5. We will clean the consultation room before and after every appointment.

  • 6. The individual will be required to complete and sign a pre-screening consent form and covid screening form.

  • 7. If suitable, the individual will be given the vaccination.

The Flu Vaccination will cost £12.00 each plus the hourly cost of the Nurse. Tailored quotations for group bookings (of more than 10 people) are available by contacting us.

If you or anyone in your household have a fever or unwell symptoms please do not attend your appointment. It's best to wait until you're better before having the flu vaccine

The flu vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine. As with every vaccination, you may experience 1 or more short term side effects such as a headache or some achiness and pain in the muscles throughout your body. This also usually happens on the first day and goes away within two days.

Yes. If you've had COVID-19, it's safe to have the flu vaccine. It will still be effective at helping to prevent flu.

Those people who are eligible for the free flu vaccine now include:

  • aged 65 and over
  • aged 18 to 64 with an eligible health condition
  • pregnant
  • living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility
  • work in a care home for older adults
  • living with someone who has a weakened immune system
  • an unpaid or young carer
  • a frontline health or social care worker
  • a non-frontline NHS worker
  • a poultry worker
  • an asylum seeker living in a home office hotel or B&B accommodation
  • experiencing homelessness or substance misuse
  • living in a Scottish prison

Most adults can have the flu vaccine, but you should avoid it if you have had a serious allergic reaction to a flu vaccine in the past. Our flu vaccinations are not suitable if you have an egg allergy. This is because some flu vaccines are made using eggs.

  • Book your appointment on-line through our website portal, register your details, and choose a date and time that works for you. Full payment will be taken at booking.

  • Attend the clinic. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your appointment.

Appointment Information

  • If you or anyone in your household or support bubble have any symptoms of COVID-19 or think they may have COVID-19 please do not come into our clinic for your appointment, instead please call to cancel your appointment. Your money will be refunded. Stay at home and follow the latest Government guidance.

  • Please wear a face mask or covering and maintain social distancing whilst in the clinic. We are doing all we can in clinic to help keep our customers and our medical staff safe.

Cancellation Policy
