ScotNursing & Medical Services are offering the Flu Vaccination from our Clinics in Glasgow (at £14.99 each) OR at your workplace for group bookings of 10 or more employees (prices available on request) this season to help to protect you, your employees and your loved ones from flu. It is so important to protect ourselves from flu, even if you are fit and healthy, we can still catch the flu. So please book now to help prevent the spread of Flu.

How to book?

  • Book your flu vaccination by calling us at 0141 255 1222 and speaking to one of our Team.

What happens at your appointment?

For individuals

  • 1. You will be sent an email confirming the place and time of your appointment. In order to maintain social distancing, we politely ask that you arrive at your appointment at your allocated time only.

  • 2. One of our experienced health professionals will ask you a few questions to make sure that the vaccine is right for you.

  • 3. We politely ask that you wear a suitable face covering in our Clinics.

  • 4. Our colleagues will all be wearing PPE and we will be limiting the time that you spend with our health professional in the Clinic. Appointments will usually take no longer than 15 minutes.

  • 5. We will clean the consultation room before and after every appointment

  • 6. You will be required to complete and sign a pre-screening consent form and covid screening form.

  • 7. If suitable, you will be given the vaccination at the Clinic

For Group Bookings either at the Clinic or at your workplace

  • 1. Please contact us for Group Bookings by email at info@scotnursing.com or call us at 0141 255 1222.

  • 2. A member of our Team will be in touch to agree suitable time and place to carry out the Vaccines and you will receive an email confirming the place and time of your appointments. Where the Vaccines are at one of our Clinics, and in order to maintain social distancing, we politely ask that you arrive at your appointment at your allocated time only.

  • 3. One of our experienced health professionals will carry out the Vaccines at the agreed location. They will ask each patient few questions to make sure that the vaccine is right for them.

  • 4. We politely ask that you wear a suitable face covering for your appointment.

  • 5. Our colleagues will all be wearing PPE and we will be limiting the time that you spend with our health professional in the Clinic/ consultation room. Appointments will usually take no longer than 15 minutes per person.

  • 6. We will clean the consultation room before and after every appointment.

  • 7. The individual will be required to complete and sign a pre-screening consent form and covid screening form.

  • 8. If suitable, the individual will be given the vaccination.

The Flu Vaccination will cost £14.99. Quotations for group bookings (of more than 10 people) are available by contacting us.

The flu vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine. As with every vaccination, you may experience 1 or more short term side effects such as a headache or some achiness and pain in the muscles throughout your body. This also usually happens on the first day and goes away within two days.

Yes. If you've had COVID-19, it's safe to have the flu vaccine. It will still be effective at helping to prevent flu.

Those people eligible for the free flu vaccine now include: Those aged 50 and over Those aged 6 months to 49 years who have certain underlying health conditions which increase risk Pregnant women Children aged 2-5 (not yet at school) Health and social care staff Unpaid and young carers All primary and secondary school age children, (in school setting) Independent NHS contractors, (GP, dental and optometry practices, community pharmacists), laboratory staff (working on COVID-19 testing) including support staff Teachers, nursery teachers and support staff in close contact with pupils Prison staff and support staff in close contact with the prison population (delivering direct detention services) Those in the prison population Please visit https://www.nhsinform.scot/flu-vaccine for more information on Free Flu Vaccinations in Scotland.

Most adults can have the flu vaccine, but you should avoid it if you have had a serious allergic reaction to a flu vaccine in the past. Our flu vaccinations are not suitable if you have an egg allergy. This is because some flu vaccines are made using eggs. If you're ill with a high temperature, it's best to wait until you're better before having the flu vaccine.

  • Process for Individuals

  • Book your appointment on-line through our website portal, register your details, and choose a date and time that works for you. Full payment will be taken at booking.

  • Attend the clinic. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your appointment.

Cancellation Policy
